Business Planning with the Private Sector’s SME
The European commission in Egypt directed funding towards projects that developed the SME segment of the Egyptian Private Sector. The objective was to identify required areas for strategic management intervention among SMEs in a variety of sectors: FMCGs, construction, lighting & building materials, spare parts and engineering works, distribution, tourism and white goods. CID Consulting was awarded with the preparation of ten business plans and 12 business audits and action plans for each company.
The CID Response:
In business planning strategy with SMEs, CID Consulting conducted diagnostic audits for all their clients, conducted market research and designed a comprenehensive strategy for its clients.
The Result:
The structural cohesion and efficiency established in the SMEs allows them to operate and compete more effectively in local and international markets. Internal systems have improved and continue to evolve with the involvement and ownership taken by employees and owners. Also, the creation of linkages and international alliances were established with local and global companies.
